Dr. Tony Eltink, Orthodontist
Dr. Eltink received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame before continuing
his education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated as
valedictorian of his class and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
He completed his orthodontic residency and obtained a Master of Science in Oral Sciences from the
University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Eltink served on the faculty of the UIC College of Dentistry
for a decade and continues to return as a guest lecturer, a reflection of his ongoing commitment to
advancing the profession. He has also taught courses for dentists and orthodontists at both national
and international levels throughout his career.
Dr. Eltink is an Invisalign Platinum Provider, one of the highest distinctions Invisalign awards,
reflecting both the volume and complexity of cases he treats using the Invisalign clear aligner
system. Buffalo Grove Orthodontics has maintained Platinum status continuously since 2002, making
Dr. Eltink one of the most experienced Invisalign providers in Buffalo Grove, Illinois and the
surrounding area.
Dr. Eltink is deeply committed to staying at the forefront of orthodontic technology. From digital
scanning and 3D printing to AI-assisted treatment planning and remote monitoring through
DentalMonitoring, he continuously integrates the latest advancements to deliver care that is more
precise, more efficient, and more comfortable for every patient.
Outside the office, Dr. Eltink enjoys spending time with his wife and children, caring for his
indoor plants and outdoor garden, walking his dog, traveling, and strength training, with a focus
on feeling his best for the long haul.
Dr. Neil Weintraub, Orthodontist
Dr. Weintraub founded Buffalo Grove Orthodontics in 1982, building a practice rooted in clinical
excellence and genuine patient care that has served the Buffalo Grove, Illinois community for over
four decades. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, majoring in
Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree cum laude from
Loyola University Dental School.
He completed his orthodontic residency and earned a Master of Science degree from Northwestern
University Dental School. Dr. Weintraub also held a faculty teaching position in Northwestern's
Graduate Orthodontic Department, where he trained more than 100 orthodontic specialists and over
1,000 dental students, a testament to the depth of knowledge he brings to every patient he sees at
BGO.
Dr. Weintraub has lectured extensively at both national and international levels on advanced
orthodontic topics, including complex cases that involve coordinating orthodontic treatment with jaw
surgery for patients with significant bite issues.
In his free time, Dr. Weintraub enjoys working on classic cars, home remodeling, swimming,
traveling, and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren in California.
